The origins of CRASTAN caffè lie in the traditions of the town of La Spezia and the Ligurian hinterland, with an heritage of coffee blends that are jealously guarded. In the ‘40s the café ‘Bar Crastan’, located in Via Chiodo, was a fashionable elegant venue for the society of the time, the rendezvous of eminent people like Amedeo Duke of Aosta and the marine officers of the Italian Royal Navy.
In 1981 the company was taken over by the Costa family, who renewed the firm’s business strategies, with the result that CRASTAN caffè is today a modern coffee roasting company, with its plant located on a total area of 12,000 square metres and a building of 3,000 square metres.
CRASTAN caffè specialises in coffee roasting and packaging, offering a range of products that capture the authentic taste and aroma of the Italian Espresso, unique for its quality.
